Upon returning to school after spring break, some may have noticed the new attraction. Along the ramp wall in front of the patio, is a new mural. ‘Tis with hearts full of pride is the main theme of the piece and is also accompanied by activities done at Roosevelt: band, JROTC, mathematics, and football, but who created it?

Freshman: Amanda Ramirez.

Sophomores: Alyssa Breeden, Wei Qi, Chelbi Juan, and Emi Kim.

Juniors: Jade Chan, Keisha Chung, Thaneswari Ganesan, Lora Lyn Junio, Queenie Luu, Victoria Nguyen, and Ashlee Panui.

Seniors: Irene Lau, and Sophia Ramirez.

These students are enrolled in the leadership class, and along with their advisor Ms. Dudoit, they meet every Wednesday morning at 7 a.m. They are joined by an organization that teaches them leadership skills.
The class is then given projects that are to benefit their society, hence the mural. It was designed to promote school spirit.
